Role Overview

Build pipelines of highly qualified, security-cleared professionals for mission-critical U.S. government and defense roles. This full-cycle recruiting position focuses on connecting cleared federal, military, veteran, and government-experienced talent with hard-to-fill opportunities across multiple domains and locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for cleared roles, including sourcing, evaluating, and closing candidates.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines spanning federal civilians, military officers, veterans, enlisted personnel, noncommissioned officers, and professionals with prior U.S. government experience.
• Use specialized cleared-talent channels, including ClearanceJobs and ClearedJobs.net, plus military transition networks such as SkillBridge, TAP, and Hiring Our Heroes.
• Screen candidates for clearance level, status, and eligibility while ensuring outreach and qualification practices comply with federal guidelines.
• Coordinate clearance verification with Facility Security Officers and customer security offices, using self-reported information as an initial screening filter.
• Translate military occupational specialties, rates, and service histories into role fit, and build trust with transitioning service members and veterans.
• Partner with hiring managers to define requirements, establish realistic timelines, and provide a strong candidate experience from sourcing through offer.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with substantial experience recruiting cleared, defense, or government-contracting talent.
• Demonstrated success placing security-cleared candidates and actively sourcing from cleared talent pools and proprietary channels.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. security clearances, including Secret, TS, TS/SCI, and polygraph requirements, reactivation windows, reciprocity, and appropriate compliance boundaries in candidate conversations.
• Ability to interpret military and veteran backgrounds, including MOS and rate information, and engage credibly with transitioning service members.
• Experience with clearance-verification workflows and collaboration with Facility Security Officers or security offices.
• Strong sourcing, screening, and stakeholder-management skills, particularly for location-locked and hard-to-fill cleared roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organization, and a metrics-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recruiting experience in specialized areas such as maritime or Navy operations, drone or UAS roles, or combat-operator talent.
• Experience as a military recruiter, Facility Security Officer, or veteran.
• Familiarity with contingent, project-based, or RPO staffing models in the defense or federal sector.

Work Terms

• Full-time remote role.
• Must be based in the United States.

Compensation

• $35 to $65 per hour.

Eligibility

• Candidates must be U.S.-based and able to conduct recruiting activity in accordance with federal clearance and candidate-eligibility guidelines.
